Introduction to the jobThe structural growth of ASML's business as well as the increase of customer expectations regarding a predictable system performance poses more strict requirements on the quality of how our daily activities are being executed in order to sustain and build current business success. The profile of the quality manager business line (BL) is addressing the challenges we face as an organization in deploying quality methods and tools such that the right balance between innovation and industrialization is established from a business line perspective.
Role and Responsibilities- Drive the implementation of the make it well objectives on quality improvements in PGP within the BL specific product programs, including quality risk management in product teams.
- Support the BL quality table and manage the periodic reporting on quality topics, including performance on customer satisfaction, operational quality within ASML as well as supply chain and quality improvement initiatives.
- Drive quality change programs top-down and bottom-up in the BL to support the transition towards a living quality culture.
- Closely collaborate with the ASML quality teams
- Be the central quality representative of the BL for initiating, driving and/or participating in quality initiatives to meet the BL key business priorities.
- Challenge both the sectors and BLs in relation to strengthening capabilities around core quality competences and quality management in the areas of product risk mitigation, parts quality and supplier quality.
Education and experience- Master or Bachelor degree in (industrial) engineering
- Minimum of 10 years experience in project and change management in a dynamic and complex industry
- Experienced in working in a matrix organization
- Seasoned in inspiring stakeholders
- Experience within the ASML organization, specifically within operations and D&E, with a strong business mindset.
- Understanding and experienced in driving quality in the areas of technology innovation and industrialization in a complex environment.
- Experienced in driving change in a large, global organization
- High level of personal ownership, initiative and drive
Skills- Capable of setting up collaboration successfully with and between stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintaining focus on translating ASML quality roadmap items into BL business targets.
- Capable of influencing people without formal authority up to senior management level.
- Able to analyze working methods and business processes, define and drive improvements, secure organizational embedding of improvements with a can-do mentality.
- Pro-active stakeholder management up to senior management level.
- Capable of combining project and change management.
- Able to build and maintain an operational quality network within the BL with a strong connection to the business MT.
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
