What part will you play?- Shape the technical design of our internal developer platform
- Create and continuously improve (IaC) templates to enable and drive cloud native applications in our DSCs
- Create high level architectural concepts that can be implemented by DevOps engineers
- Collaborate with product management, architects, developers and DevOps engineers to define a shared vision of success
- Drive the adoption of our DevOps as a Service concept across Digital Service Centers
- Act as a thought leader for state-of-the-art software development and operations practices
- Support & educate DevOps community and local developers
- Drive the exchange with Siemens DevOps stakeholders and communities
What you need to make real what matters.- Master’s degree in Computer Science, professional education with longterm experience
- Longterm experience and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) programming skills (e.g. Cloud Formation, Terraform)
- Longterm experience and programming skills with container technologies and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
- Significant experience in setting up automated CI/CD pipelines and automated test pipelines
- Profound Experience with architecting cloud native CI/CD workflows and tools, such as GitLab or Jenkins
- Experience in applying and adopting agile development processes and principles
- Excellent analytical skills and experience in defining and governing complex DevOps cloud architectures and development processes
- Experience in setting up AWS infrastructure for DevOps environments leveraging the full power of AWS native services
- Proven work experience in distributed, international teams
- Business fluent in English, German is a plus
- Certifications are a plus (AWS Certified Solutions Architect / AWS Certified DevOps Engineer)
