Senior Cloud Architect (F/M/D) DevOps

What part will you play?

• Shape the technical design of our internal developer platform
• Create and continuously improve (IaC) templates to enable and drive cloud native applications in our DSCs
• Create high level architectural concepts that can be implemented by DevOps engineers
• Collaborate with product management, architects, developers and DevOps engineers to define a shared vision of success
• Drive the adoption of our DevOps as a Service concept across Digital Service Centers
• Act as a thought leader for state-of-the-art software development and operations practices
• Support & educate DevOps community and local developers
• Drive the exchange with Siemens DevOps stakeholders and communities

What you need to make real what matters.

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, professional education with longterm experience
• Longterm experience and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) programming skills (e.g. Cloud Formation, Terraform)
• Longterm experience and programming skills with container technologies and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
• Significant experience in setting up automated CI/CD pipelines and automated test pipelines
• Profound Experience with architecting cloud native CI/CD workflows and tools, such as GitLab or Jenkins
• Experience in applying and adopting agile development processes and principles
• Excellent analytical skills and experience in defining and governing complex DevOps cloud architectures and development processes
• Experience in setting up AWS infrastructure for DevOps environments leveraging the full power of AWS native services
• Proven work experience in distributed, international teams
• Business fluent in English, German is a plus
• Certifications are a plus (AWS Certified Solutions Architect / AWS Certified DevOps Engineer)
