Eneco (Eneco - Ijmuiden)
You lead the management and optimization of auxiliary systems across multiple innovative offshore wind farms, directly contributing to the energy transition.
You work in a dynamic, international team where your expertise drives continuous improvement in safety, reliability, and performance.
You enjoy a hybrid work environment with flexibility and inspiring locations, including an office overlooking the North Sea.
Eneco is an international energy company dedicated to accelerating the energy transition. Guided by our mission ‘everyone’s sustainable energy’, we help consumers and businesses switch to renewable energy. Since 2007, this mission has been firmly embedded in our strategy. Eneco’s ambition is to be climate-neutral by 2035 — not only in our own operations, but also in the energy we supply to our customers.
Eneco Wind Operations Offshore (EWOO) manages the operations of several offshore wind farms, including Prinses Amaliawindpark (120 MW), Luchterduinen (129 MW), Blauwwind (731.5 MW), Two Towers (19 MW), and Crosswind (759 MW). The portfolio will soon expand with the Ecowende project (780 MW), scheduled for commissioning in 2026. Through our experience and knowledge, EWOO contributes continuously to improving the development and operation of new offshore wind farms.
We are looking for an Asset Manager to join our Balance of Plant (BoP) team. In this role, you will be responsible for the auxiliary systems of our offshore wind farms — including DTS, ICCP, HVAC, UPS, cranes, CMS, generators, fire-fighting and communication systems.
As the discipline lead for auxiliary systems across all our offshore wind farms, you will manage the associated contracts and ensure that the assets remain in optimal condition. You will actively share lessons learned between sites and contribute to continuous improvement in performance, reliability, and safety.
You thrive in dynamic environments and adapt quickly to new challenges. With strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a drive for results, you know how to get things done. You are committed to continuous improvement and have a commercial mindset.
You will join Eneco’s Offshore Wind Operations team — a multidisciplinary group of turbine, civil, mechanical and electrical specialists, asset analysts and HSSE and ecology experts. Our teams are based in IJmuiden, Ostend and Rotterdam.
You will report to the BoP Operations Manager and work primarily from our IJmuiden office, offering a beautiful view over the North Sea. Eneco supports hybrid working: 40% in the office, 40% from home, and 20% flexibly.
