Getinge AB is a Swedish public limited company listed on NASDAQ, Stockholm. In short, corporate governance aims to ensure that a company is managed in a sustainable, responsible and efficient manner in accordance with applicable legislation and regulations. The Group’s corporate governance structure and its internal regulations provide frameworks for achieving business objectives and strategies and aiming to ensure the continued strong development of the Group’s operations and, consequently, that the Group’s operations fulfill its obligations to shareholders, customers, employees, suppliers, creditors and society.
Good corporate governance entails a well-defined division of duties, transparency vis-à-vis the shareholders and the market and efficient governance and effective control over the group’s operations to ensure that it meets established targets, applicable legislation and other regulations and internal policies. Such governance also brings confidence in the company is maintained with existing and potential investors and other operators in the financial markets.
The Code deals with the decision-making system through which shareholders directly or indirectly govern a company and is a part of the corporate sector’s self-regulation. The Code is based on the principle of “comply or explain”. This means that a company who applies the Code may deviate from a specific rule in case that would be deemed to result in better corporate governance. However, the company must in such case describe its own solution and explain why. Getinge follows the rules of the Code and provides explanations in the Corporate Governance Report in cases where Getinge has deviated from any of these rules.

Field Service Engineer – Life Science
We are looking for a Field Service Engineer for an independent field-based role, where your working day starts from home, you spend most of your time at customer sites, and you work with advanced equipment used in the pharmaceutical industry.
This is a field-based position – practical, technical, and highly independent.

What Your Typical Working Day Will Look Like
You start your working day from home and travel directly to customer sites.
You work primarily at pharmaceutical companies within your assigned region.
You perform installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance on Life Science equipment.
You plan your work independently in coordination with the Service department.
You prepare service reports for internal and external use.
You identify technical issues or bottlenecks on site and report them to the responsible contact person.
You ensure compliance with all applicable safety requirements.
Your Responsibilities
Installation, maintenance, and repair of Life Science equipment at customer sites.
Diagnosing and resolving technical faults independently.
Providing technical support to customers and colleagues and sharing your knowledge.
Contributing to continuous improvement and supporting the broader Service department.
Professionally representing Getinge and maintaining strong customer relationships.
What We Expect from You
Completed vocational education in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent experience as a Field Service Engineer.
At least three years of relevant experience in a similar field service role.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Knowledge of PLC control systems is an advantage.
Experience in the medical or pharmaceutical sector is a plus.
Valid category B driver’s license.
Excellent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
