Vacature
As a Global Category Buyer, your mission is to develop and implement a procurement strategy for assigned commodities, ensuring availability, cost efficiency, and supply chain resilience across the General Vacuum Divisions. You will report to the Global Commodity Manager VTS.
You will:
- Lead sourcing and procurement projects, including stakeholder presentations
- Build and maintain strong supplier partnerships and conduct regular negotiations
- Drive continuous improvement in cost and supply chain performance
- Collaborate with other divisions to optimize negotiation outcomes
- Achieve financial procurement targets and analyze purchasing data in SAP
- Align strategies with divisional goals for sustainability and availability

You have 3+ years of experience in strategic purchasing or project management in a manufacturing environment:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or equivalent experience
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with a partnership-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently with solid time management and entrepreneurial thinking
- Quick comprehension in complex situations and high motivation to grow
- Business proficiency in English; German is a plus
- Solid knowledge of SAP

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site (where VTS has a Hub).
