Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will own how marketing turns demand into pipeline and orders for Energy Industries. Each day, you will connect data, platforms and processes across Salesforce, Marketing Cloud Account Engagement and 6sense, so the right accounts are engaged, leads reach the right sales owner quickly, and every campaign is measured on its business impact. You will also showcase your expertise by leading account-based marketing for priority and installed-base accounts, and by turning performance insight into better decisions across hubs and business lines.

This role contributes to the Energy Industries Division within the ABB Automation Business Area.

This position does not require relocation. The successful candidate will be employed and hosted through their current ABB location or the nearest suitable ABB office

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Owning the marketing revenue operations framework: lead management, lifecycle stages and service levels from first buying signal to won order, agreed with regional sales.

• Leading account-based marketing for priority and installed-base accounts, using 6sense intent and engagement data to focus effort where it moves pipeline.

• Owning marketing data quality and lead routing across Salesforce, Marketing Cloud Account Engagement and 6sense, so leads reach the right sales owner within agreed times.

• Building and running pipeline and performance reporting: marketing-sourced and influenced pipeline, orders, stage conversion and campaign return, as one version of the truth shared with sales.

• Setting campaign planning and measurement standards used by the five regional hubs, business lines and industry marketing teams.

• Supporting the Service team’s installed base modernization pipeline with account targeting, buying signals and measurement.

• Working with the marketing AI operations capability to automate lead scoring, routing and reporting, within ABB data privacy and responsible AI guidelines.

• Partnering with Sales, Commercial Excellence and IS on processes, tools and data governance, in line with Automation Business Area marketing technology standards.

• Managing agencies and platform partners for demand generation and ABM execution against clear performance targets.

• Coaching hub and business line marketers on processes, dashboards and tools, and driving their adoption.

Qualifications for the role

• Degree in marketing, business, engineering, data analytics or a related field.

• 7+ years in B2B marketing operations, revenue operations, demand generation or account-based marketing, ideally in industrial or technology markets.

• Hands-on experience with Salesforce and Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) or comparable marketing automation, and with 6sense or a similar ABM platform.

• Strong analytical skills in funnel and pipeline modelling, attribution and dashboards (for example Salesforce reporting or Power BI).

• Proven ability to build processes and data governance across marketing and sales in a global, matrixed organization.

• Practical experience applying AI and automation to marketing workflows.

• Able to turn data into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.

• Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.
