As an IT value stream architect  for the Finance value stream at Tata Steel Netherlands (TSN), you are responsible for defining, safeguarding, and evolving the end-to-end application and integration architecture that supports the value chain, from first customer interaction through to invoicing and payment.

You operate within Lead to Cash domain, from lead generation and pricing through order management and fulfillment to invoicing and cash collection. You provide architectural direction across CRM and e-commerce platforms, PriceFx, Compass, SAP (Order-to-Cash), invoicing solutions and EDI integrations.

You work within IT Value Stream Architecture team, part of Applications & Transformation within Digital Technologies (DT), delivering secure, scalable and future-proof digital solutions across Tata Steel Netherlands. As Value Stream Architect, you:

• Architecture vision & roadmap: Define and maintain architecture vision, principles, and roadmap for Lead to Cash, aligned with business strategy.
• End-to-end solution design: Translate business strategy and value stream priorities into robust, scalable application and integration architectures across the full Lead to Cash landscape.
• Architectural governance: Safeguard architectural consistency and ensure alignment with enterprise standards, IT governance, security, performance, and maintainability requirements.
• Stakeholder collaboration: Work closely with Value Stream Owners, Product Owners, application teams, platform teams, and external partners.
• Agile enablement: Support Agile and DevOps teams with clear architectural guidance, enabling fast, safe, and high-quality delivery of change.

You are an (experienced) architect who combines strategic thinking with hands-on architectural leadership in complex IT landscapes. You feel comfortable operating in a dynamic Agile environment and are able to balance long-term architectural integrity with short-term delivery needs. You bring:

• A master’s level education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Technical Business Administration.
• Extensive IT architecture experience with a strong background in solution, process, and application architecture within large, complex organizations.
• Solid enterprise architecture knowledge, including value streams, business capabilities, integration patterns, and IT governance.
• Proven ability to design and govern end-to-end architectures with significant organizational and business impact.
• Experience applying ArchiMate to design, document, and communicate enterprise, value stream, and solution architectures.
• Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments, preferably within SAFe for Architects.
• The ability to clearly communicate complex architectural concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to influence senior-level decision-making.

• A salary between € 4905,42 and € 9667,42 gross per month, depending on experience, plus profit sharing.

You will be part of the IT Value Stream Architecture team within IT Applications & Transformation, a key pillar of Digital Technologies at Tata Steel Netherlands. Digital Technologies plays a central, organization-wide role and is responsible for architecture, platforms, applications, data, and digital services across TSN. The IT Applications & Transformation organization drives the development of a secure, integrated, and future-ready application landscape.

The team focuses on enabling value streams with reliable, secure, and scalable application landscapes, driving business value for TSN, and supporting standardization and simplification of the IT landscape. In addition, the team supports Agile delivery by providing clear architectural direction and governance, while ensuring strong alignment between business strategy, technology choices, and long-term digital roadmaps.

As IT Value Stream Architect A for Lead to Cash, you play a key role in shaping the digital backbone of TSN’s commercial processes. You directly contribute to customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and sustainable value creation by ensuring a coherent and future-proof architecture across the end-to-end Lead to Cash domain.
