As a Machine Woodworker, you process wood and sheet materials to make them suitable for products such as window frames, stairs, furniture, and flooring. This is done using various woodworking machines that sand, saw, and shape the material. Increasingly, this work is carried out using computer-controlled machines.

In this company, you will be responsible for operating a four-sided planer machine, processing various customer orders. Your tasks include:

• Checking components
• Setting up and operating advanced four-sided planer machines
• Ensuring product quality
• Monitoring both quality and quantity

For the CNC machine, you will retrieve technical drawings from the system, set up the machine, and adjust tools where necessary. The wood is manually placed into the machine, after which the process runs automatically.

You will usually work together with a colleague on the machine
