As a QA Engineer, your key role will involve the application and advancement of Quality Engineering practices in line with established best practices, principles, and standards. Your focus will be on test automation as well as identifying and mitigating product risks and interdependencies throughout the product lifecycle within and across product teams. In this capacity, you will be tasked with finding connections and synergies, while also serving as a technical advisor and collaborator for the engineering, product, and other business stakeholders. This position is critical for enhancing quality engineering processes and identifying efficiencies throughout the product delivery system. Your key focus will be to drive our shift-left QA strategy where QA is involved from the beginning and consistently raise the bar on our test automation coverage.

Gaat dit over jou?

• Programming (OOP) in C# (and Python is preferable)
• Automation testing (playwright, BDD Cucumber, Specflow, Reqnroll, API automation, Rest Assured, Pytest)
• Some experience with performance testing (Jmeter or similar)
• Agile methodology and working in agile teams
• Git
• Demonstrated experience with Cloud (Azure/ AWS/ GCP)
• Demonstrated experience with Containers/ Docker/ Kubernetes
• Exposure to data heavy system testing where data ingestion, validation and processing as per business rules are key
• Demonstrable experience testing event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event hub)
• Bonus points for experience as QA automation engineer in mission critical services e.g. banking, energy, health, etc

  alignment.

  Lead Test Automation:
  
  Design and implement scalable, standards- compliant automation frameworks integrated into DevOps pipelines.

  Refine Requirements & Backlogs:
  
  Break down complex requirements, define test estimates, and contribute to backlog refinement and sprint planning.
• 
  
  Continuously Improve Processes:
  
  Participate in retrospectives and agile practices to drive efficiency and high-quality outputs.
• 
  
  Resolve Issues Proactively:
  
  Accurately log defects, support root cause analysis, and collaborate for timely resolution to minimize risk and cost.
• 
  
  Mentor & Innovate:
  
  Share knowledge, stay updated with tech trends, mentor peers, and contribute to organizational growth and culture.

Bruto jaarsalaris tussen de €80.000 en €110.000

Hybride werken: thuis, kantoor of buitenland

Je werkt 40% op kantoor, 40% thuis en 20% flexibel. Met toestemming van je manager mag je maximaal 3 weken per jaar in het buitenland werken (binnen goedgekeurde landen), maximaal 2 aaneengesloten weken.
