Join ASML as a Senior Safety Professional within the EUV Factory, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and compliant work environment. This position is vital for fostering a strong safety culture and driving continuous improvement in our Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) practices.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Senior Safety Professional, You will:

• Act as a trusted EHS advisor to operations, engineering, and facility management teams.

• Drive the Improvement Safety Roadmap in the Operational Departments. Conduct safety risk assessments and ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and ASML policies.

• Develop and deliver safety training programs to enhance workplace safety awareness.

• Support the development and refinement of safety policies and procedures.

• Lead incident investigations and track safety performance indicators to provide insights for improvement.

• Drive the maturity level for Safety to an Independent level

Education and experience

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• HVK (Hogere Veiligheidskunde) or similar Education/certification.

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in safety management or a technical engineering field (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical).

• At least 15 years of experience in health and safety within high-tech manufacturing or semiconductor production.

• Strong knowledge of Dutch and EU safety regulations, including the Safety Act and Environmental Act.

Skills

To thrive in this position, you will need the following skills:

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across multiple teams.

• Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies (HAZOP, FMEA) and incident investigation techniques (Kelvin Topset, Tripod Beta, RCA).

• Strong analytical skills to identify safety risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.

• Fluency in English; knowledge of Dutch is preferred.
