System Build Scanner Engineer Weekend Shift

With a technical secondary vocational Education (MBO qualification level 4) you can literally be at the heart of complex innovative technology. In our cleanrooms in Veldhoven we assemble, build and deliver complex lithography systems, from prototype to final product. You’ll work in a high-tech environment where standards are high and targets aren’t just aspirational – they’re necessary. This dynamic environment requires skilled manufacturing Engineers. 

Due to our rapid growth and the need to expand our capabilities in our EUV Factory (EF) we are currently looking for Engineers who want to work during the weekends in a weekend-shift. 

We look for candidates who are part of the Build phase of the manufacturing process. You assemble, adjust and qualify ASML products or (sub) systems according to agreed specifications and delivery times.

EF MF System Build:

The sector EF Manufacturing is responsible both for the production and installation of wafer steppers, scanners and light sources for EUV systems. 

The department System Build is responsible for the assembly and qualification of the Scanner, Source Build and CO2 milestones. 

As System Build Engineer Scanner you install and align components for System Build. This integration work includes swapping parts, testing and, cleaning delicate high tech surfaces to make sure the system works according to customer specifications. 

You have a MBO 4 degree in the area of Mechanical engineering, Mechatronics, Applied physics, Aerospace, Electronics or Automotive engineering with relevant work experience.

Candidates with a HBO degree in the areas mentioned above can also apply, if you have hands-on assembly/qualification experience and experience with diagnosis to high tech equipment.

You like to work with your hands to assemble and make things work. You have hands-on experience with technical assembly in a high-tech or customer service environment, for example as a car mechanic, a construction worker or a technical service employee. Proven affinity with system assembling and troubleshooting is essential.

Working in Weekend shift schedule
As a weekend Assembler/Technician you have a specific shift roster; Office hours on Friday and weekly alternating shifts on Saturday and Sunday.
Early shift: 6.00- 14.30 hour
Late shift: 13.30 - 22.00 hour

This position is offered for a one year within which you are trained to reach the desired competence level. Depending on performance and business need, the contract will be extended.

For this position, the indicative (fixed) annual salary range is between 47,500 euro and 53,500 euro. This range comprises vacation allowance and a 13th-month payment and is based on a full-time contract. Company profit sharing is not included in this range. As this is a shift-based position you will receive a shift allowance on top of the indicated salary range. The actual compensation offered will depend on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: job-related skills, relevant Education and (work) experience, certifications, demonstrated abilities of the candidate, pay relative to other team members. Vanwege onze snelle groei en de vraag om uit te breiden binnen de EUV fabriek zijn wij op zoek naar assemblage medewerkers en techneuten die willen werken in onze weekend shift.

Wij zoeken kandidaten die onderdeel zijn van de bouw fase van het productie proces van EUV systemen.

EF MF System Build:

De sector EF Manufacturing is verantwoordelijk voor zowel de productie en installatie van wafer steppers, scanners en lichtbronnen voor onze EUV systemen. De afdeling System Build is verantwoordelijk voor het assembleren en kwalificeren van de scanner, source build en CO2 mijlpalen.

Als engineer in System Build Scanner installeer en align jij componenten voor de scanners. Dit werk omvat zowel het wisselen van onderdelen, als het testen en schoonmaken van gevoelige high tech onderdelen om ervoor te zorgen dat onze systemen werken zoals de klant dat wilt.

Jij hebt een mbo 4 opleiding op het gebied van Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, toegepaste natuurkunde, Luchtvaarttechniek of Automotive Engineering. Daarnaast heb je enige relevante werkervaring (kan in de vorm van stages).

Kandidaten met een hbo in dezelfde technische richting zijn ook vrij om te solliciteren, mits je hands-on ervaring hebt en diagnoses kan stellen van high-tech materialen.

Jij wordt enthousiast van werken met je handen en dingen produceren. Je hebt hands-on ervaring en technische assemblage ervaring. Denk hierbij bijvoorbeeld aan ervaring als monteur, bouwvakker, technische service medewerker etc.

Werken in een weekend shift
Als weekend engineer heb je een specifiek schema waarin je werkt. Op de vrijdag werk je standaard kantoor tijden. Op zaterdag en zondag werk je per week afwisselend 2 roosters.
Vroege shift: 6.00- 14.30
Late shift: 13.30 - 22.00

Deze positie wordt aangeboden met een 1 jarig contract waarin je wordt opgeleid om het juiste competentie niveau te halen. Afhankelijk van je prestatie en de vraag vanuit ons bedrijf wordt het contract verlengt.
