Job
PM Group are seeking an experienced Construction Engineer to join our pharma construction project team in Ghent, Belgium.

Responsibilities
- Lead construction activities including design coordination, installation oversight, and system integration for production facilities
- Oversee installation of stainless steel process piping, vessels, and equipment requiring pharmaceutical-grade finishes and validation-ready construction standards
- Coordinate with process engineers and validation teams to ensure EU GMP requirements are met
- Supervise construction of controlled environment systems
- Manage contractor performance for specialized installations
- Ensure construction compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards
- Coordinate commissioning activities
Qualifications
- Experience in pharmaceutical construction projects (media preparation, sterile processing, or bioprocessing facilities experience advantageous)
- Strong knowledge of EU GMP requirements.
- Understanding of construction regulations, pharma facility licensing requirements, and European regulatory compliance standards
- Proven track record managing complex technical packages in sterile manufacturing environments with validation and regulatory oversight
- Proficiency in English (plus Dutch and/or French languages desireable)
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline
