Black Utilities Engineer

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Project Engineer in Black Utilities to join our existing team to work on a number of key projects.

• All aspects of HVAC design and management
• Developing design briefs
• Load and system calculations
• HVAC system modelling
• Hydraulic analysis of air and water systems
• Conceptual and detailed design of HVAC systems
• Development of system schematics through all design stages
• Production of engineering designs, drawings, and documents
• Specification writing
• Building Management Systems – development of systems architecture, specifications, controls strategies, sequence of operations through all design stages

• Primary Degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering (MBO,MTS,LTS)
• A proven experience systems design
• 8-10 years building design experience within hi tech industry projects
• Knowledge and experience around commercial factors and aspects including estimating services and purchases, vendor bid analysis and project controls.
• Self-motivated and organised, taking a pro-active approach to tasks and commitments.
• Strong methodical and analytical approach with an ability to meet deadlines.
• Reliable, consistent and quality approach to work.
• Demonstrable ability to play a positive role in multi-discipline teams.
• Professional approach and demeanour. A strong ethical approach to safety, quality, environmental protection and business.
• Demonstrable ability to communicate effectively with clients and peers at all levels, with good presentation skills.
• A flexible approach and willingness to self-educate to meet current standards and technologies required by the given project industry sector.
• Good command of English and Dutch or French is required.
