Introduction to the job

Strategic Sourcing & Procurement (SS&P) works closely with our supply chain to build, maintain and strengthen our ability to deliver on our commitments to our customers. We take on the short-term challenges while building strong, strategic, mutually beneficial relationships with our suppliers that carry us into the future.

In SS&P, our department drives ASML’s Cost of Goods (CoG) outcomes in SS&P by enabling our stakeholders (SS&P Clusters, and Business Lines) to achieve the desired CoG levels for ASML. We do that by:

  • making performance transparent, allowing risks and opportunities to be identified and followed up;

  • establishing structure, capabilities, means and methods to drive ideation, reporting, review and execution efficiently;

  • orchestrating stakeholder interaction and actions to achieve desired results, for example in the SS&P, D&E, and BL triangle;

  • driving standardization and automation in every step in the process, allowing our stakeholders to focus on content delivery;

  • driving continuous improvements in means and methods and Cost of Goods outcomes.

     

Role and Responsibilities

As a Business Analyst, it is your role to support a dedicated Cluster in driving their CoG roadmaps by providing business analytics and intelligence. You will be the go-to person for analytics, having a helicopter view on our roadmap, deep-dive analytics as well as the driving force behind Cluster Cost Carousels. You will support the Cluster CoG Manager and various Cluster senior stakeholders.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Providing business analytics and intelligence to the cluster to drive performance improvement;

  • Evaluate opportunities with cost savings potential and drive these within the Cluster;

  • Be the go-to person for Senior Account Leaders for deep dives on cost related topics;

  • Provide cost roadmap clarity towards the senior Cluster Managers;

  • Organize Cluster Cost Carousels; Provide training to Account Leaders;

  • Interface with Finance on Cluster commitments;

  • Identifies and drives cost management process and tooling improvements

     

Education and experience
  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, (International) Business, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or other Engineering fields is preferred;

  • Minimum of 2-6 years of work experience in a large company, preferably within a high-tech business;

  • Experience in data analytics, preferably in the Supply Chain/Procurement field;

  • Experience with KPI dashboarding, data analysis & follow-up;

  • Proven experience in stakeholder management across different levels of seniority;

  • Experience in the use of MS Office programs (e.g. Excel);

  • Experience working with SAP/Power BI/Spotfire is a pre.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
