Regional Sales Manager Global Partner Business

Your role and responsibilities

As a Channel Sales Specialist in the industrial automation sector, you will be the driving force behind indirect sales within ABB Process Automation’s Energy Industry and Process Industry businesses across the Benelux region. You’ll have the opportunity to both acquire new partners and grow existing ones in a dynamic market. Collaborating with system integrators, distributors, value-added resellers, panel builders, and installers, you will convince end customers of ABB's innovative solutions. You will expand and refine partner business plans to drive revenue for ABB Solutions and Service business within Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg, utilising framework of the Global Partner Program in close collaboration with Local Divisions. You will leverage technical knowledge and sales experience to add new partners that can support opportunities across a range of industry segments. In parallel, you will use existing business plans with current partners to grow sales in pre-defined markets, continuously monitoring performance against agreed KPIs. You will effectively refine and implement channel sales strategy in specified markets (global/regional/local) to improve ABB market penetration and realise growth aspirations for channels. You will be responsible for delivering qualitative and quantitative targets, including orders, orders gross margin, market share, and customer satisfaction. In order to achieve these targets, you will spend most of your working hours at channel partner or end customer sites. The work model for the role is hybrid. What You Will Do: • Strategic Execution: Implement the channel sales strategy to achieve order volume and profitability goals. • Drive Growth: Identify and target new channels for growth and take ownership of local sales targets. • Collaboration: Work with experts to explore untapped opportunities and develop business plans. • Negotiation: Lead negotiations and manage pricing agreements with local partners. • Analysis and Reporting: Track the progress of channel strategy, analyze activities, and proactively address challenges. Qualifications for the role

  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Over 7 years of sales experience in Industrial Automation, preferably with a focus on channel management.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
  • Fluent in Dutch (native) and proficient in English, with strong communication skills.
  • A natural leader with a results-driven approach who thrives in indirect and virtual teams.
  • A true team player with outstanding presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
