Context of the position

The sector EUV Factory is responsible for the production of EUV lithographic systems. The complete production process of the most advanced machines takes place within the EUV Factory Veldhoven. Within the EUV Factory the Production Logistics department is responsible for all logistic processes and planning within the EUV factory.

The Material Runner Coordinator reports to the Team lead Material Runner and works closely with his colleague Coordinators within the EF Logistics department ensuring overall efficient logistics production process. In addition, he or she works together with various of customers responsible for building modules and systems and testing and dismantling of these systems.

Material Running is mainly responsible for material/Module/storage availability of the inbound/Outbound material flow, inventory efficiency and quality of the outbound flow including parts, tools and packaging.

Job Description
 

As Material Runner Coordinator your main responsibilities are:

• Coordinate a team in the shift, setup development actions plans, coach individual team members and define and monitor required trainings.
• Secure timely availability of materials for production work orders.
• Drive projects to further develop and implement the Material Running processes in alignment with factory logistics competence center.
• Create or update work instructions accordingly.
• Define and/or improve reporting and monitoring via KPI dashboard.

Education

MBO 4+

Experience

• At least 1-3 years of relevant experience within a (high tech) production environment.
• Experience in planning and logistic processes.
• Experience in stakeholder management.
• Experience in driving change.
• Knowledge of SAP or other ERP system.

Scope of the Coordinator role

• Ensures an effective and efficient execution of processes in order to realize the operational goals within the operational team
• Supports the Team Leader in leading the team (gets subset of tasks) and reports to Team Leader.

Functional responsibilities and tasks

• Creating the weekly schedule.
• Guiding the daily process in the right direction (manage every competence of the MR: Pre-pack, MRR, BuildingBlocks, ITV).
• Supporting team with daily MR tasks.
• Joining Interviews of future new hires.
• Welcome and guiding new hires (Fix laptop, phone, locker, guided tour, joining 1st routine with TL)
• Gives feedback on a daily base on performance to the MR-team to ensure quality and proper execution (secures required discipline in work center execution (observes and acts).
• Initiates, implements and drives improvements for organizational processes and is using business process data to drive this.
• Observes, analyses and corrects deviations in organizational / Way of Working processes (if necessary escalate to TL)
• Ensures an adequate operational resource planning (short term, weekly to 3 months) and execution of the planning and solves occurring bottlenecks
• Prioritizes tasks according to importance/urgency and delegates daily/weekly tasks within the team
• Coordinates special requests/priorities/escalations to TL on daily basis
• Has knowledge of and/or experience on relevant internal processes and has insights in processes of relevant Departments
• Gives instructions and supports in activities within own team and manages the progress
• Knows the operational (technical) process and is able to support the operator in a logistical way
• Ensuring a safe and 5S complaint working environment.

• When TL’s are not available taking over chair function DK1.
• Planning coordinators meetings.
• Take care of an optimal cooperation and professional communication between both shifts.
• Take care of the skill matrix and coach the new hires.
