ASML (Veldhoven, Netherlands)
ASML is an innovation leader in the semiconductor industry. We provide chipmakers with everything they need – hardware, software and services – to mass produce patterns on silicon through lithography.
A challenging opportunity within the Customer Supply Chain Management (CSCM) division for professionals with a quality-driven mindset and strong communication skills. This role offers the chance to directly contribute to operational excellence and strengthen collaboration across Departments.
ASML’s rapid growth and market Introduction of cutting-edge technologies require robust quality assurance throughout the supply chain. Dead on Arrival (DoA) parts and tools are the most critical form of non-quality, leading to unacceptable machine downtime at customer sites. The Quality Coordinator plays a key role in minimizing this by driving operational quality processes such as stock-purge coordination, quality inspections, DoA root-cause analysis, and supporting the field through Issue Resolution Reports (IRRs).
Role and ResponsibilitiesAs a Quality Coordinator, you will be the operational bridge between development, factories, and the field. You’ll ensure that quality risks are identified and mitigated early, and that inspection processes are well defined and executed in alignment with other Departments. While inspections are performed locally, your role ensures that processes are standardized and effective across all global warehouses.
You will focus on operational execution rather than process improvement projects, working closely with senior colleagues and learning the ropes. This is a high-impact position suited for someone ready to grow in the quality domain of the semiconductor industry.
Act as sparring partner for logistical quality issues across global warehouses
Monitor and coordinate stock purge progress and align with planners to mitigate availability risks
Serve as the central point of contact for quality issues raised from the field
Support DoA investigations, inspection processes, and second-line field support
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (D&E, Customer Support, and Engineering) to define product risk profiles and inspection priorities
Monitor Logistic DoA KPIs, identify root causes, and close supply chain blind spots
Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business (e.g. Industrial Engineering, Business Administration), with 2–5 years of experience
Experience with quality tools or handling escalations is a plus
SAP experience preferred
Strong MS Excel skills; experience with Power BI is a plus
Working at the cutting edge of technology means facing complex challenges that require teamwork and adaptability. To thrive in this role, you need to be structured, precise, and resilient under pressure — particularly as decisions can directly affect machine uptime at customer sites.
Quick learner and team player
Strong organizational and prioritization skills under pressure
Able to manage diverse tasks and stakeholders
Attention to detail while maintaining a big-picture view
Clear and professional communicator in English
Skilled in stakeholder management across functions
You will join the CSCM Quality team in Veldhoven, which secures quality performance in the logistics chain to ensure continuous material availability for ASML’s global installed base. The team owns and executes key operational processes such as stock purges, DoA investigations, and second-line support for field issues.
This is a unique time to join the Quality team — with growing strategic focus, direct customer impact, and an ideal platform for ambitious professionals to grow fast within the quality and semiconductor space. You’ll be contributing to selecting and safeguarding the right quality measures in a high-stakes environment, where just 15 minutes of machine downtime can mean millions in customer loss.
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.).
