The Business Partners mission is to secure a comprehensive high quality data governance framework that ensures the integrity of ASML’s product master data assets. This vision is driven by the goal of unlocking and enabling organizational efficiency at strategic, tactical, and operational levels. As a data governance manager at ASML, you’ll join the team of Business partners item master data. You ensure that we are in control of master data as they should – and be part of the technology innovation that’s moving the world forward. By fostering collaboration across all Departments and sectors, we empower ASML to make informed data driven decisions and drive innovation. You’ll be one of the Business Partners for the master data management department. A specialized department for master data quality solutions and control. Team combines Business Process, data quality solutions and software, so you’ll guide a multidisciplinary team through the data management process.
As a Governance Manager You will:
Governance boards management: manage and organize master data governance boards involving the appropriate natural teams (Master Data Management, Business Process Management, Subject Matter Experts, Key users).
Data quality focus: drive data and metadata quality with a quantified focus on business value, validated by the relevant stakeholders.
Scope definition: define ownership, attribute, and material scope clearly while driving / contributing to the data quality initiatives.
Collaborative roadmap creation: jointly create and drive the product data roadmap in alignment with the master data governance boards.
Prioritization and targets: set priorities and targets collaboratively with the business stakeholders. Performance tracking: track the performance of processes and the effects of deliverables.
Leadership in capability development: lead or strongly contribute to data management capability development, supporting the design, maturity, and deployment of our operating model.
Optimized working methods: continuously improve our way of working through the application of performance management, problem-solving methodology, and other relevant tools.
To help us tackle the master data challenges we face, you’ll need experience working on high-tech products and with complex processes. As senior Data Governance Manager, you’ll need:
Bachelor’s or University degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Information management
At least 4-9 years of experience in a relevant field
Experience in leading teams up to 5 team members
Experience with statistical processes related, preferably Six Sigma Green Belt
Experience with SAP, Aris, Team Center, Python, and/or shell scripting
Project management, Agile way of working
Understanding of Business Process Management
