EHS Compliance specialist - Domain Corporate Real Estate

CRE EHS Compliance specialist – Are you the EHS specialist with affinity for environmental compliance who we are looking for?

As an EHS specialist you are looking for a challenge and you get energy to really make a difference in a complex environment by taking responsibility and maintaining the high EHS standards within ASML.

As an EHS Compliance specialist you are responsible to support the CRE organization in the Netherlands to maintain and extend our license to operate in a responsible way for the environment.

• Manage requiring and apply the necessary permits (e.g. environmental permits) and adhere to legal requirements;

• Keep track of new and changed (EHS and ESG laws and regulations) and maintain Compliancy register;

• Advise on possible improvement actions in the field of the environment and sustainability (ESG);

• Follow up on improvement plans (Environmental Year Plan and 5-year Company Environmental Plan) and ensuring that the improvement actions included therein are carried out within the deadline;

• Supervise inspections of local and regional authorities;

• Internal and external EHS and ESG reporting;

• Collecting, analyzing and reporting environmental data;

• Drive our internal EHS audit program based on ISO 14001 and ISO 45001;

• Advice to other ASML (EHS) Departments.

Environment and compliance are your passion and with your skills, especially leadership and communication skills, you know how to get things done.

• You have a bachelor's degree in environmental or legal studies.

• 5-7 years of relevant work experience.

• You are a certified lead auditor (preferred).

• You have extensive experience as EHS specialist, preferably within a development or high-tech organization. Experienced in applications for permits.

• You have knowledge of ISO standards (ISO14001 / 45001) and other safety management systems such as VCA.

• You have knowledge of applicable local laws and regulations and good analytical problem-solving skills.

• You are a strong communicator, open, honest and respectful in your communication with others.
