What you’ll do
As our
Engineering Manager Platforms – Cloud & SRE
, you’ll be at the heart of Eneco’s digital transformation. You’ll lead the way in building resilient, scalable, and future-proof infrastructure. Together with your team, you’ll enable our engineering organization to move faster and more reliably every day.
You’ll help shape a culture of operational excellence, innovation, and learning, while staying hands-on.
Is this about you?
- You're passionate about scalable infrastructure, reliability, and operational excellence
- A degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and infrastructure-as-code
- You have led engineering teams focused on infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE
- A strong technical background with hands-on experience in areas like Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, and automation
- You communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- You are enthusiastic about mentoring and developing engineers
- You can set technical direction while balancing immediate needs with long-term vision
- Enthusiastic about mentoring and developing team members.
- Ability to set a technical direction and vision for your scope, working with the engineering manager to fit into the wider scope of the domain.
You’ll be responsible for
- Leading the design and implementation of our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines
- Building robust observability, monitoring, and alerting systems
- Creating self-service platforms that empower development teams
- Establishing SLOs and ensuring reliability across our services
- Driving automation to eliminate toil and increase operational efficiency
- Contributing hands-on to architectural decisions and implementation
- Mentoring and growing engineers while fostering a collaborative culture

What we have to offer
Gross annual salary between €95.000 and €145.000
Including FlexBudget, 8% holiday allowance, and depending on your role a bonus or collective profit sharing.
