The team
In this challenging and exciting role, you will be part of a team of three other EBPO's and will report to the manager of the team. The team has divided the activities in the different pillars whereby you will be responsible for the Procurement part of the business. We are looking for an energetic and ambitious:


European Business Process Owner (EBPO) - Procurement

This unique opportunity gives you the ability to deal with multiple disciplines, such as: process governance, the continuous improvement lifecycle of the Business Process Management (BPM) discipline and process standardization and harmonization across Europe. You will closely work together with the European Functional Directors to facilitate their strategy and directions. Therefore, you will take part in various projects to drive process improvements and integrations. There are many possibilities to take ownership, drive initiatives and work independently on various process domains including the continuous improvement cycle.
In this role you will report to the Head of BPM, who reports to the CFO Europe. Your stakeholders are the Procurement Director Europe, the Procurement Process Community from 9 Business Units and the Central IT team. You will work with IT via the three pillars of Process, Data and System. You have a „service mindset" and you see the end users of the system as your customer wanting to make their professional lives easier.


About the role Manage the end-to-end business processes

  • You are responsible for the end-to-end business process "Source-to-Pay;
  • You contribute to the design of the Procurement related processes, who are part of other end-to-end business processes;
  • You define, monitor and maintain the European template ensuring harmonization within the business.

Business Partnering

  • You ensure a complete and efficient exchange of information & recommendations to and from the Procurement Director Europe and the different stakeholders, respecting the given direction to go;
  • You are responsible for the organization of relevant meetings, ensuring the right input, throughput and output, so from invitation to conclusion & update through a Fit for Purpose approach;
  • You are able to provide the right level of information to the different parties involved, high level and strategic and detailed only when required;
  • You assess possible solutions in collaboration with Central IT and drive the proposal to a decision. An Impact Analysis is part of the process from both IT as well as Business perspective;
  • You pro actively update on latest status of discussions and work in progress documentations with your stakeholders.

Driving process design changes and improvements

  • You are leading the Procurement process community, embedding trust and openness in order to create an environment of learning and knowledge sharing;
  • You drive an agenda of continuous improvement, assessing the quality of the process design on a regular basis collecting feedback from the business via the Process Communities;
  • You analyse and drive new business demands and changes to concrete business requirements together with the business and IT.
  • You establish overviews of the process maturity level and related process improvements ("roadmap") in close alignment with the Procurement Director Europe.
  • Change Management
  • With your change management skills you facilitate the local challenges during the implementation of the European process template and / or any other initiative within the Refresco group where you take a key role.
  • You act as the go-to person for the local project manager.

About you

  • At least a Bachelor or Master degree in Business Economics, or comparable;
  • You have several years of professional experience and expertise in all areas of Procurement;
  • Strong sense and experience in change management and acting as a true business partner for the different stakeholders;
  • Expert knowledge in process blueprints for ERP, preferably SAP S/4 Hana;
  • Relevant experience in an international environment (multiple geography and multi culture);
  • Willingness to travel across Europe for workshops
  • Strong written, oral and presentation skills; prior experience to conduct business workshops;
  • You are eager to work in an informal and entrepreneurial environment in a fast-growing company;
  • You are used to working under the pressure of a deadline and getting things done;
  • You enjoy driving decisions with various stakeholders (stakeholder management);
  • You are fluent in English and preferably 1 or more other European Languages.
