Magneto Special Anodes B.V. in Schiedam specialises in the development, production and sale of titanium anodes with various catalytic coatings and electrochemical cells. Since 2016, Magneto has been part of Evoqua Water Technologies Ltd.

As part of our ambitious growth plans, we are currently looking for a professional to join our team in Schiedam in the position of

International Account Manager Schiedam (fulltime)

As International Account Manager Titanium Anodes, you will be responsible for expanding and strengthening Magneto Special Anodes’ position in various international markets. You act as a technical discussion partner for customers and translate their needs into expert advice. You will prepare quotations, follow them up and successfully close orders. In addition to relationship management, which is the emphasis, you also spend time acquiring new customers (20-30%). You maintain lasting relationships with customers in Europe, Asia and the Middle East and identify market developments to meet customer needs. You will create and monitor your own sales plan and report to the Sales Manager, EMEA.

Qualifications?

• At least an HBO education in the direction of Engineering/Chemistry/Business (Masters preferred);
• You have 3-4 years of experience in a target driven commercial role in a client facing environment;
• You have good communications skills especially of the French language and in addition of the English language; Dutch language optional;
• You are willing to acquire the necessary technical expertise in this niche market and to keep it up to date;
• Working in an international environment is something you see as challenging, with travel accounting for 10-20% of the job.
• You are willing to visit seminars, trade fairs and other networking events from the branches; national and international;
• You have a results oriented attitude and know how to achieve objectives.

What can you expect?

• You will work in a team of five at a dynamic organisation with an informal and pleasant working atmosphere;
• The place of employment is Schiedam, with the possibility of working partly from home;
• A competitive salary commensurate with the position;
• 200 annualised holiday hours (160 basic and 40 non-statutory) for full-time employment;
• A 38-hour working week, in which you are free on Friday afternoons;
• An annual incentive of 20% on achieving 100% of targets;
• A commuting allowance of € 0.23 per kilometre (maximum 75 kilometres one way);
• Other conditions in line with collective labour agreement for metalworking companies.
