IT product Owner Security (Cloud Centre of Excellence)

Introduction to the role

Are you ready to lead the development of cloud-based security solutions in a high-tech, agile environment? ASML is looking for a Security Product Owner to join our Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) within IT. You’ll co-lead a scrum team focused on delivering secure, scalable solutions across Azure and Google Cloud platforms.

This is a strategic role that bridges business needs and technical execution—ensuring our cloud security products align with ASML’s objectives and deliver measurable value.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Security Product Owner, You will:

• Co-lead a scrum team and take end-to-end ownership of team deliverables and the value they bring.
• Create long-term plans and align timelines with the scrum team and stakeholders.
• Prepare and prioritize the team backlog for upcoming sprints, ensuring clarity and alignment with ASML’s priorities.
• Communicate backlog priorities and their business impact to the team.
• Collaborate with the Scrum Master to drive results and identify team improvements.
• Slice work into smaller, valuable increments in close collaboration with the team.
• Facilitate evaluation and acceptance of sprint deliverables.
• Actively mitigate impediments impacting successful sprint/release completion.
• Challenge the team using key performance indicators to drive efficiency.
• Stay current with best practices and emerging trends in cloud security.

Education and experience

You bring:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Business Management, Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or Electronics.
• Proven experience in Cloud Security and Product Ownership or equivalent roles.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
• Ability to translate technical requirements into business value and vice versa.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, or AWS.
• Familiarity with cloud-native security tools and technologies.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience in leading roles delivering to external customers.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps ways of working.
• Good understanding of regulatory frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, etc.).
