Role and Responsibilities

Imagine leading a team that transforms how ASML collaborates with its most strategic technology partners. As the IT Vendor Management Officer, you’ll be at the heart of this transformation—building bridges between internal teams and global suppliers to co-create solutions that power the future of microchip innovation.

You’ll be the driving force behind simplifying our supplier landscape, consolidating 60–70% of IT spend under fewer, high-impact partners. This means more agility, better governance, and stronger results. You’ll guide a talented vendor management team, helping them grow in areas like negotiation, supplier performance, and innovation—while fostering a culture of excellence and inclusion.

Your leadership will ensure that our suppliers deliver not just services, but real value. You’ll influence roadmaps, shape delivery strategies, and ensure that ASML’s technology ecosystem is resilient, secure, and future-ready.

You will also:

• Maximize value across technology domains by optimizing supplier usage, driving SLA performance, and reducing issue volumes.
• Create deep engagement between internal teams and supplier product/engineering teams to shape roadmaps and co-develop solutions.
• Rationalize the vendor base to improve agility, governance, and value.
• Lead QBRs, scorecards, escalations, and contract harmonization.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Legal, Finance, Security, Architecture, and the broader IT leadership team.
• Oversee supplier lifecycle tooling, performance tracking, and risk visibility.
• Stay ahead of market trends to evolve sourcing and delivery strategies.

Education and experience

You bring:

• 10+ years in IT vendor management, sourcing, or technology partnership roles.
• Proven experience managing SaaS, legacy tech, cloud, and managed services.
• Strong commercial, operational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with Agile ways of working and ITIL service management.
• Experience with ServiceNow/CMDB is a plus.
