Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Junior Project Engineer 'marine & island coordination' to support a large offshore project for a client in the energy sector.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

The Offshore Operations Package is looking for a Junior engineer Marine and Island coordination, who will support in the Marine and Island Coordination management of all package related to the project. General Info of the Offshore Operations assignment: The Princess Elisabeth Island will be located in the Belgian part of the North Sea, following the designation by Belgium’s Government in the Marine Spatial Plan 2020-2026 of new zones for production and transmission of renewable energy (“Princess Elisabeth windfarm area”). Service expectations: The Junior Engineer Marine and Island Coordination:
  • Reports to the Lead Marine and Island Coordinator;
  • Will actively participate in daily/ weekly coordination calls
  • Will support in liaising with the different packages (Island, Cables and Substation) and their contractors to ensure efficient Marine and Island operations;
  • Will support in performing vessel audit together with MWS and the expert of the relevant package

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • You have at least 2 years of relevant working experience
    • Experience in the offshore sector is a must
  • Education: Engineer
  • Experience in offshore logistics and transport operations
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Working structured, independent and precise
  • You are a smooth, proactive communicator and a resourceful accountable team player
  • A quick learner
  • Fluent in English
