Role and ResponsibilitiesAs a Lead Network Software Engineer at ASML, you will play a pivotal role in driving the technological advancements that form the foundation of the advanced lithography systems we develop. Your work ensures that our network infrastructure not only functions but also evolves and remains scalable as the technologies we work with become increasingly complex.
As a technical leader, you’ll mentor other network software engineers, foster knowledge sharing, and promote collaboration, shaping the technical vision and strategic direction of our network infrastructures.
You’ll designing, implementing , and improve robust and scalable network architectures that support communication between advanced machines, servers, and cloud environments.
Your Contribution in a Nutshell:Network security responsibility: You’ll safeguard our networks by implementing the latest encryption protocols and VPN technologies, ensuring data protection in even the most demanding environments.
Network management automation: Developing network tools and scripts, you’ll automate routine tasks, leading to efficiency improvements and reducing manual efforts.
Working with Linux systems and Python: You’ll use Linux and Python to automate network operations and system configurations, enhancing system performance.
Solving technical challenges: You’ll proactively identify and resolve network performance and security issues, ensuring the continuity of operations.
Contributing to strategic decisions: You’ll advise management on key network decisions, including the implementation of new technologies and network architectures, aligning them with ASML’s long-term strategy.
Continuous innovation: By applying new technologies and best practices, you’ll help develop network solutions that shape the future of ASML, both in the semiconductor industry and beyond.

What are we looking for?
Proven experience as technical leader, and mentoring other network software engineers. If you have the ambition, you can apply too!
8+ years of experience in complex technical environments, ideally in high-tech sectors like semiconductors or cloud computing
Strong experience with network protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, HTTP(S), and expertise in network security (IPSec, SSL/TLS, VPN)
Experience with SDN, NFV, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
Proficiency in Python, C/C++, and network automation
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like GIT, Jenkins, and Ansible
