The Siemens Industry, Inc. in Roebuck, SC is seeking to fill a Lineside Breaker Replenishment position. In this position, you will support the productions lines in the movement of freight, stock, supplies, and other materials from one area to another, loading and unloading items onto trucks, shelves, or pallets. You will coordinate movement to meet Lighting Panels production schedules and maintain continuous flow of material.

Shift Hours: 1st shift position job working 6:00am-2:30pm Mon through Thursday, and 5:00am-1:30pm on Friday. Occasionally there will be some overtime available.

Hourly Wage: $24.65

You will make impact in this position by:

• Operating tools and equipment common to the material handling trade (e.g. manual and powered sit-down and stand-up industrial trucks). Must be licensed on sit down and stand-up industrial trucks.
• Enforcing 5S, 7 Wastes and other lean principles in the team / area.
• Reporting of any shortage to GL or Supervisor to prevent a stop in production.
• Communicating with Planning Group on ordering line side parts from warehouse.
• Responsible for accommodating requests of LP Production personnel.
• Performing other work as directed by Supervision.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in manufacturing environment.
• Specialized Training: Knowledge of sit down and stand up industrial trucks.
• Knowledge: Knowledge on all the operations of the assembly / fabrication / process of the area.
• Skills: Basic computer skills and use of basic mechanical/measuring tools.
• Abilities:
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language
  • Must be able to reach, grasp, lift 50 lbs , and push/pull/slide heavy material
  • Must be able to make coordinated movements of the hands and arms to grasp and move objects.
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, squat, crawl, and climb

• Other: Must be at least 18 years of age.
