Job Description

GATT-technologies, a Johnson & Johnson Company is recruiting for a Operations Manager located in Nijmegen.

JOB SUMMARY

  • Manage production team
  • Manage product realization process

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage product realization process including production planning and manufacturing activities
  • Be the expert on products, materials and components used in the production process
  • Manage production team
  • Determine production, personnel and equipment requirements
  • Participate in external and internal audits related to manufacturing process
  • Assist QA with Device History Record (DHR) in cooperation with QC
  • Manage validation of production processes
  • Technical contact with management
  • Review and approval of validation documents
  • Responsible for product release, ensuring animal material is part of risk management strategy in GATT Technologies QMS in compliance with ISO22442 “Medical Devices Utilizing Animal Tissues and their Derivatives”.
  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
  • Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
  • For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • Manager level positions – 8-10 years of related experience and a bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Experience in the Medical Device industry or medical field
  • Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing principles and practices, and procedures
  • Knowledge of specific business practices and software and software applications
  • Able to enter data on spread sheet and database applications
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse clientele base
  • Ability to work cooperatively with coworkers and the public
  • Ability to perform duties in accordance with policies and procedures and in to comply civil rights requirements
