As Battery Product Manager, you’ll lead the standardization and scaling of battery onboarding across Eneco’s technical and IT landscape. Your mission is simple but ambitious: make sure every new battery asset is seamlessly onboarded — starting from a single CRM entry and automatically integrating into all relevant planning, forecasting, and steering applications.
You’ll define and coordinate the integration strategy, develop an API-first approach, and ensure Eneco’s growing battery portfolio is scalable, maintainable, and future-proof.
You’re a product manager who thrives at the intersection of technology, energy, and systems integration. You know how to translate business ambition into scalable technical solutions and are energized by solving complex onboarding and integration challenges.
Proven experience in product management within energy tech, SaaS, or system integration.
Strong understanding of APIs, developer platforms, and integration strategies.
Technical depth: able to read API specs, understand telemetry formats, and challenge architecture decisions.
Fluency in English and residence in the Netherlands.
Bonus points for
Familiarity with energy markets (FCR, aFRR, imbalance).
Understanding of DSO/TSO data flows and international integration challenges.
Owning the end-to-end onboarding process for new battery assets into Eneco’s Trade Ops & IT stack.
Defining and driving an API-first integration strategy across trade, planning, and forecasting applications.
Developing and maintaining a developer/API portal for third-party integrations (OEMs, VPP steering, DSO/TSO data).
Coordinating across Trading, Tech, and Ops&IT teams to align architecture and integration flows.
Analyzing and improving onboarding processes and technical flows to enable scale.
Ensuring financial and operational data flows are robust and automated.
Challenging existing architecture and proposing improvements where needed.
You’ll join Eneco’s Trade Ops & IT product team, collaborating with developers, architects, and stakeholders to shape the future of battery integration and energy optimization. Together, you’ll make Eneco’s growing flexibility portfolio a key driver of the energy transition.
