The Automation, Monitoring and Observability ART is part of the Core IT organization and is responsible for delivering high quality products, platforms and knowledge supporting IT Workload teams achieving their Compliance, Operational Excellence and Total Cost of Ownership objectives of their IT Managed applications and services.

Role and Responsibilities

As Product Owner of the Platform Team in the Automation, Monitoring and Observability ART you create the team roadmap and vision in collaboration with customers, team members and Leading Coalition, formed by the Chief Product Owner, Release Train Engineer and System Architect.

As Product Owner you:

  • Define and prioritize product features and enablers based on user value, business impact, and technical feasibility to maximize value delivery.

  • Are heavily involved in preparing the next Program Increments by aligning, refining and prioritizing the team backlog to match product roadmaps and integration plans.

  • Keep stakeholders informed, manage expectations and address any concerns.

  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure the backlog is well-defined, understood, and ready for development.

  • Collaborates closely with the Scrum Master, Team and Department Architects to balance stakeholder requirements and high-value quality improvements, and with CPO/POs of other teams to align long term plans and dependencies.

  • Manage priorities of escalations during the Program Increment.

Education and experience
To help us tackle the technical challenges we face, you’ll need experience working on high-tech products and with complex processes. As Product Owner, you’ll need:

  • Bachelors or Masters in IT or related.

  • At least 5 years of experience in a relevant field

  • Background in IT and experience in translating business requirements into IT solutions

  • Previous experience as product owner in IT is preferred

  • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms and automation tools is an advantage

  • Experience with the SAFe methodology

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • To be able to bring across your ideas and plans and are open to adapt them when needed

  • To not settle for the status quo but feel the drive to change and innovate for the benefits of the customers and the ART

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
