Job Mission

We organize, coordinate and provide information to resolve second line logistical disturbances for the TF FAB.
We flexibly provide administrative support for TF FAB. We are back up for TF FAB logistics during out of office hours.

Production Planning Shift Support is responsible for supporting the TF Production Planning team with all logistical tasks needed to meet the machine output plan (MPS). Working in a two shift schedule the key responsibilities are to provide high-end solutions in case of material disturbances, challenge and align with stakeholders on preventing them and shortening the disturbance lead time by ownership and a proactive attitude.

Job Description

The main task of Production Planning Shift Support is to solve material DN’s (Disturbance Notifications). These are ad hoc material requests of our factory, that need to be fulfilled in the shortest period of time possible with the least impact for the whole factory as possible.

The requests occur when a material is rejected or for another reason not usable or available for the factory operator. Mostly second line support for the requests where no stock is available in the general ASML warehouse. Our team checks with the Operational Supplier Coordinators if and when the supplier can deliver. Other solution directions could be different ASML warehouses, service stocks or parent materials.

Shift support need to come with creative and short term solutions to make sure the impact on the factory is minimal and always take the cost aspect into consideration towards the solution.    

• Manages the logistics process of the factory by initiating warehouse requisitions, monitoring the progress and limiting logistical disturbances to affect the machine output plan (MPS).
• As a Natural Team member contributing with high-end impact scenario’s and solutions in case of (possible) production delay.
• Analysis and optimization: Knowledge of different planning parameters (for example safety time, safety stock), so in times of changing environment the planning-method can be adjusted.
• Initiative and active input in improvement processes due to the central position and valuable knowledge in processes by nature of the job.
• Data integrity & parameter setting: Understand and maintain the Material-Master data and system behavior and take action in case of discrepancies.
• Reporting and communication: Anticipate on problems and communicate these problems with the different Departments (Natural Team) to resolve them together.

Education

Bachelor's degree /Bachelor work level

Experience

• 3/5 year experience in material handling / CRL, or production planning is a pre
• Knowledge of SAP (R3) (or similar) ERP is required, preferably in high-tech environment

• Comfortable to work in a two shift support schedule (6:30-15:30/15:00-00:00) and every three weeks in te weekend. (one day off during the work week)

Context of the position

The Production Logistics organization within the Twinscan Factory manages the flow of material from supplier into the clean-room. The Production Planning department is responsible for the planning of all build operations  within the factory. The Production Planner Shift Support reports to the Production Planning Team Leader and works closely with specialists in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Material Handling and Global Logistics Services. This function gives you the opportunity to develop yourself and the processes and grow with and within ASML.
