Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Project Lead Infrastructure / Utilities to support several projects on site for a client in the pharmaceutical sector in the region of Brussels.

This function is open for freelancers and employees.

Our OTS (Outsourced Technical Services) department supports projects in different sectors on basis of project staffing with consultants working at the client’s site.


Responsibilities

As Project Lead within the Asset Condition and Reliability Section, directly integrated in the Technical Assessment Global Program, you will be the go-to point of contact for infrastructure technical assessments.

You will spearhead the execution of a comprehensive global strategy, collaborating closely with third-party engineering offices to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with buildings, foundations, metal and concrete structures, cladding, waterproofing, fire protection, …

In this pivotal role, you will define, follow and deliver key studies and analyses for the clients’ assets globally, guaranteeing of the application of the normative, the technical standards and the company guidances. You will be responsible for quality, cost and planning.

As Project Lead, you will report directly to the Global Technical Assessment Program Manager, interacts very frequently with the internal client, the Asset Manager Infrastructure. You will proactively seek key information from the Infrastructure Experts dedicated to the Program, as well as from the Global SME Infrastructure

Your ability to add context and value-driven elements to third-parties effectively communicate complex topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders will be crucial.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5-8 years of total experience and at least 3 years in project management.
  • This person must also have experience with people management (external/internal) & stakeholder influence.
  • We are looking for someone with experience in infrastructure and utilities. If the experience is only in infrastructure or utilities, that's okay too.
  • Experience in pharma is nice to have for the infra part. However, if the profile has experience in utilities, pharma experience is mandatory.
  • Project expertise and technical background (important to understand what the technicians on-site are saying). Opex project management (relatively low amount): we are therefore on the coordination of a technical team to create an exchange between different technicians.
  • Able to adapt to the final client.
  • Synthesize complex technical problems for a non-expert audience.
  • Ability to manage priorities.
  • Language: French and English are a must (presentations in English).
