Are you a detail-oriented, solution-driven Quality Engineer with international ambitions? If so, we want you on our team! In this role, you will serve as a crucial link between customers, project teams, and production, ensuring that our high-quality Siemens solutions meet the highest standards.
Your Role:You will work on international projects, primarily in Europe and Asia, and be responsible for quality inspections, analyzing and solving quality issues, and improving processes. Together with a team of 4 colleagues, you'll ensure the quality of our products and help prevent mistakes from being repeated.
In our projects, we design and deliver power distribution solutions for national and international customers. The project management and engineering teams are based in The Hague and Chennai, while production takes place in multiple factories across different countries. Typical project scopes include switchgear, transformers, E-houses, automation, and protection systems, with contact involving customers, engineers at our factories, project managers, and lead electrical engineers.
What You’ll Do:
Perform quality inspections at suppliers and our factories.
Analyze and resolve quality issues using tools like RCA, FMEA, and 8D.
Improve and maintain quality processes.
Collaborate closely with customers, project teams, and production.
Develop and monitor preventive and corrective actions.
Your Profile:You have demonstrated outstanding skills in teamwork, leadership, and communication. With a keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach, you bring valuable experience in implementing both corrective and preventive measures. Your strong customer focus, combined with a continuous improvement mindset, ensures that you consistently strive to enhance processes and deliver the best possible outcomes.
Your success is grounded in:
Experience as a Quality Engineer in a technical environment.
Familiarity with quality tools such as RCA, FMEA, 8D, and audits.
A technical bachelor's or master's degree.
Fluency in English (Dutch is a plus) and a EU passport.
Willingness to travel internationally 20–30% of the time.
