Quality technician

The Quality function within to Tools department ensures Product & Service Quality throughout the value chain, meeting regulatory requirements and customer expectations. As Quality technician in our team, you work independently within standard practices and focus on clearly defined tasks. You identify quality issues, release tools for stock and make improvement suggestions.

When joining the team as Quality technician, you focus on:

Quality Control, Assurance & Compliance

• Perform basic quality control on products and materials, routine inspections, and tests; document deviations.
• Collaborate to address minor issues and collect quality metrics data.
• Work under senior colleagues' guidance.

Documenting & Reporting

• Maintain basic documentation of quality control activities.
• Use templates to document findings.
• Contribute to simple quality reports.

Continuous Improvement & Problem Solving

• Assist in problem-solving activities and address straightforward quality issues.
• Follow procedures for problem resolution.

Process Improvement

• Participate in process improvement initiatives by suggesting solutions to enhance quality control.
• Identify inefficiencies and propose enhancements.
• Work under senior colleagues' guidance.

Manage Customer Expectations

• Address basic customer inquiries and concerns related to quality.
• Provide accurate information and direct customers to appropriate support channels.

Culture & Community

• Actively participate in Q&E Community events.

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Quality Management or Industrial Engineering or secondary vocational Education with extensive relevant experience.
• Relevant experience in the field of quality or support positions.
• Knowledge of SAP ECC & EWM is a plus
• Affinity with logistic processes.
• Basic understanding of 5S/continuous improvement.

• Must be able to obtain a VGB (Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag or Certificate of Conduct).
• Must be able to receive and obtain Air Cargo Employee (MLV) certification.
• If you are employed through an agency within ASML, you will need to complete your contract with the agency before being eligible for a fixed contract.
• Works in Dayshift
