Inside Sales Representative – Global SalesAre you commercially driven, a true team player, and ready to take your next step into the world of Global Sales? Then Damen Anchors & Chains is looking for you!
As an Inside Sales Representative, you are the vital link between our customers and internal departments. You have a keen interest in both technology and commerce and know how to combine these two worlds seamlessly.
What will you do?
You’ll work closely with experienced sales colleagues to supply our anchors and chains to (new) customers around the world. You’ll have plenty of room to develop your commercial skills and try out your own ideas.
Your daily tasks include:
- Communicating with customers by phone and email, providing technical advice.
- Preparing and following up on quotations.
- Exploring new sales channels, such as social media.
- Conducting market research (e.g., identifying new customer segments and their activities).
- Processing incoming orders and coordinating deliveries.
- Supporting the field sales team with technical and commercial information.
- Contributing to product development by gathering and analyzing customer feedback.
- A close-knit team of 6 colleagues.
- Part of the Damen Shipyards Group, with 12,000 colleagues worldwide and nearly 100 years of shipbuilding history.
- A supplier of maritime products offering global delivery and consultancy.
- A team of experienced and driven professionals.
- You’re enthusiastic about sales and naturally interested in customer relationships.
- You’re comfortable communicating with customers in English.
- You enjoy working in a team and understand that success is achieved together.
- You’re hands-on and not afraid of a challenge.
- Technical knowledge is a plus, but not a must – if you’re eager to learn, you’re the perfect candidate!
