SAP technical project manager

Our goal is to improve speed, quality, and agility in our business processes through SAP platforms. The SAP Platform team is seeking a SAP Technical Project Manager to lead complex SAP projects and shape the future of SAP technology at ASML.

As an SAP Technical Project Manager, you will bridge IT business-facing teams and SAP technology teams, ensuring smooth project execution. Your responsibilities include:

• Creating and managing project timelines to ensure milestones align with business goals.

• Defining project scope in collaboration with stakeholders to establish clear objectives and deliverables.

• Translating business requirements into technical solutions that deliver measurable value.

• Communicating with stakeholders, including executives and team members, to provide updates and maintain engagement.

• Identifying risks, addressing issues proactively, and keeping the project on track.

• Conducting project reviews, tracking progress, and reporting on status and any necessary adjustments.

• Leading a cross-functional team, fostering collaboration, and ensuring high-performance delivery.

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

• 8-10 years of experience in SAP, with at least 5 years managing technical SAP projects.

• Experience leading large-scale SAP implementations.

• PMP or SAP certifications are a plus.

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills:

• Expertise in project management methodologies (SAFe, Waterfall, Scrum) and selecting the best approach per project.

• Strong technical background in SAP, particularly S/4HANA, SAP on Azure, SAP Business Technology Platform, and SAP Integration.

• Ability to solve technical challenges efficiently and make sound decisions.

• Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience with change management to ensure smooth adoption of SAP solutions.

• Leadership skills to inspire teams and drive successful project execution.

• Strong time management to prioritize tasks and keep projects on schedule.
