We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Administrator CAx.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Central focal point for the administration and configuration of the CAx toolset (NX, Autodesk) in collaboration with PLM-Admin Team.
• Setup and updating of the Siemens NX CAD system and Autodesk Toolset (Autocad, EPLAN).
• General system support incl. monitoring, diagnosis and error analysis.
• Licence management and allocation for clients.
• Identification and implementation of improvement opportunities.
• Control of implementation tasks and upgrades at external partners.
• Topic-related cooperation with the respective team-internal colleagues for e.g. data model, programming (Python), workflow management, CAx administration and general IT-Support.
• Coordination of internal IT partners for all infrastructure and workplace issues (VMware, certificates, client packaging, SQL server, storage, etc.).
• Creation and maintenance of up-to-date CAD standards and guidelines.
• Ensuring compliance with best practices in the use of Siemens NX.
• Targeted enhancement of the system using VB programming (e.g. NX Open) to simplify the CAx applications in a smart way.
• Ensuring compliance with best practices in using of Siemens NX.
• Identification of potential for improvement in the CAx area.
• Integration of CAD data into the entire product development process.
• Third-level support for approx. 300 users.

Vereisten

What we ask of you

• Bachelor or Master degree in mechanical engineering, IT or comparable.
• Minimum 5 years of experience on business side in regard to CAx/PLM processes (e.g. working as designer with NX/TC).
• Demonstrable NX application and customer defaults administration skills.
• Verifiable project experience of upgrading Teamcenter/NX, data migration, enhancement of SAP integration.
• Proven experience in defining concepts, workflow design, configuration and implementation of business requirements.
• Experience in cross-system management, coordination of testing, releases and deployments.
• Experience in coordinating and supervising Level 2 & 3 support.
• Analytical skill set and positive, proactive, target-oriented working method and problem solving ability with an customer service approach.
• Lateral leadership experience advantageous.
• Good communication skills in English and Dutch.
