Senior manufacturing team lead

You will be working within the group “GMF MS Service Lab Operations”. What is important in your role as a team lead is to coach and lead your team members which are responsible to deliver Wafers and Reticles on time with the right quality to the EXE5000 project as well as for Twinscan & EUV factory. You are responsible for the overall operation and performance of the Metrology and Reticle department. You have a continuous improvement mindset and are eager to make a difference.

You will lead the metrology output on quality during service hours (7x24) against optimal cost. Securing working processes (including safety), people, equipment and consumables.
Coaching and steering a team of process and metrology operators (operators working in 5-shift and support shift). You will be working in close collaboration with cleaning and process.
 

As a manufacturing team lead You will:

• Lead your team, coach your team members and assure required amount and quality of resources. Setting up organizational vision and goals, execute HR&O activities (Develop & Perform);

• Secure required resources in equipment, people, and consumables for required output (in quantity and quality). Include day to day operational management, as midterm and long-term (roadmap) forecasting;

• Observe day to day execution and performance.  Initiate improvements internally within own environment and/or with support of Technical Support and Engineering;

• Identify possible/actual bottlenecks in operations. Act and communicate on situations with appropriate urgency and in a pragmatic way. You are responsible for solving issues and preventing reoccurrence;

• Attune expectations and agreements/performance to the customers and management, make added value and agreements transparent in organization;

• Responsible for quantity and quality of all wafer-processes, self-supporting with 1st line internal and external troubleshooting, coordinate and manage escalations;

• Cooperate together with 2nd Team Leader from counter-shift as ‘one’ virtual operation.

To help us tackle the technical challenges we face, you’ll need experience working on high-tech products and with complex processes. As senior manufacturing team lead, you’ll need:

• An MBO (vocational) or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field

• Preferably 4-9 years experience in a similar role

• Service environment in high tech environment, wafer processing is a preference,

• Strong communication skills,

• A true people leader

• Continuous improvement mindset

• Analytical and structural, service oriented, entrepreneur,

• Knowledge of manufacturing and wafer processing

• Able to communicate on different levels.

• Able to work with process data

• Fluent knowledge of the English (required) and Dutch (preferred) language in word and writing.

The sector GMF Manufacturing Services is responsible for the support of production of Lithography systems, new and refurbished. Within GMF MS Service Lab Engineering, the department introduces new products and corresponding processes from development into (Volume) and continuously adapts and optimizes the production and installation processes and provides support in connection with the organization.

In the Service Lab wafers and reticles are prepared for exposure, processed after exposure, measured and recycled.
