Vanuit het hart van de Rotterdamse haven richten we ons primair op alle aanvragen, service en onderhoud van het volledige Wärtsilä voortstuwingsportfolio en digitale toepassingen voor de maritieme industrie.
Te denken valt aan monitoring en online services, op-maat advies, onderdelen, onderhoud, reparatie, revisie voor zowel voortstuwingsproducten als motoren als ons navigatie en communicatie aanbod. Naast onze experts op locatie, hebben we een eigen kade in Schiedam en specialistische werkplaatsen in Schiedam, Harlingen en Kruiningen. Zo zijn we 24/7 altijd dichtbij.
Onze kennis over voortstuwing en analyse-oplossingen van energiemanagementsystemen voor de maritieme industrie komt uit ons wereldwijde Technology & Services Centre in Drunen. Hier zit ook één van de tien wereldwijde Land & Sea Academies.
In Kampen bevindt zich het Wärtsilä wereldwijde distributiecentrum van (reserve)onderdelen en in Zwolle richten we ons op energieoplossingen voor Afrika en Europa. Ook voor de klassieke merken zoals Stork Werkspoor Diesel, Deutz, Bolnes, Sulzer A / S 4 takt, blijft de kennis in huis en levert onze dochteronderneming QuantiParts, ook gevestigd in Zwolle, onderdelen en service.

We are now seeking a Commissioning Engineer to join our skilled Global Field Service Propulsion team in Drunen, the Netherlands as a Senior Service Engineer. The Global Field Service Propulsion team offers high quality commissioning, maintenance. and repair services for our propulsion product portfolio to our maritime customers worldwide. We also offer a variety of electrotechnical services, and we are active in the fields of inspection and automation.
What will you be doing?
As a Commissioning Engineer, you are responsible for all the commissioning of our propulsion products related to mechanical, hydraulics, and controls during the building phase of a ship on location at the international sites of our clients. You will test our systems on functionality and quality before official handover to the client during sea trials.
You are responsible for the commissioning of (complete) Ship propulsion systems. The ship's propulsion system consists of controllable pitch propellers, gearboxes, water jets, azimuth thrusters and transverse thrusters and associated operating systems.
