Senior solution test and integration engineer

Would you like to take on the challenge to bring high quality innovative Overlay Solutions to our customers? With increasing complexity of our scanner systems to print even smaller features on our customer wafers, equally complex on-product overlay control solutions are required to guarantee performance that we promised our customers. For releasing such a solution, collaboration with different functional and integration clusters, sectors, and business lines is required and this adds an extra layer of complexity for integration and qualification. We are looking for a System Integration and Test Engineer to strengthen the existing integration team and raise the quality and maturity level of overlay solution integration.

As a System Integration and Test Engineer in On-Product Overlay group in Business Line Applications, you drive performance testing and integration of Lithography Overlay Control Solutions (Baseliner and Overlay Optimizer) together with the involved project lead towards customer release thereby helping our customers to optimize their production ramp-up and yield. Your main responsibility is to write the integration test plan and test results analysis documents, collect and keep track of integration risks and see to it that they are mitigated by responsible owners, prepare and execute High Level Integration Steps (HLIS) prior to full integration of the solution during final alpha testing. All these efforts culminate in a formal review (Go/No Go) moment where the qualified solution will be released to the field. To this end, you need to:     

• Review performance and test specifications defined by System Engineering and Development and Engineering architects and translate them into success criteria to which the intermediate and final qualification test result must adhere 

• Participate and contribute to formal risk assessment sessions and track the risks that are relevant for integration, and identify with SE and D&E architects the mitigation strategy and actions 

• Create and maintain the Solution integration PERT containing Pre-integration and HLIS collected through input from D&E architects; this PERT will be used by Integration PL to create the integration plan 

• Facilitate the collection and processing of identified integration risks by D&E community during risk assessment/intake meetings organized by Integration PL  

• Organize review meetings to get identified risks mitigated by D&E owners and see to it that materialized risks are tracked in issue lists and solved by owners prior to formal go/nogo review meetings 

• Create and update for each Solution an Integration test plan an test analysis results, consolidate all underlying HLIS test plan documents and test result analysis documents delivered by various teams. 

• Interface with contributing teams to come to a clear division of responsibilities and technical scope, and assist Integration PL with building the masterplan and clarifying the total integration strategy 

• Join the integration meeting chaired by the Integration PL and register defined actions and owners; present the overall integration status to guide the agenda of the meeting 

• Maintain the integration status on SharePoint and create dashboards to be added to the periodic status reports of Integration PL 

• Provide operational support to the involved teams during alpha qualification, both for progression and regression testing 

• Adequately involve Marketing, System Engineering, Development & Engineering, and Customer Support sectors for reviewing integration documents as preparation for the formal go/nogo review meeting organized by Integration PL 

• Able to assist Integration PL to further professionalize the integration process by extending the job scope with configuration management, better integration test coverage, qualification including customer specific corner cases, and more.

• Master/PhD degree in Physics or Engineering (Mechanical, Optical, Electrical) 

• At least 5 years hands-on work experience in ASML machines and/or test and integration experience 

• Experience in integration activities, e.g. as integrator in multidisciplinary project

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
