Join ASML’s Observability team within the Automation, Monitoring & Observability ART and help shape the future of IT intelligence. As a Senior Splunk Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of designing and implementing cutting-edge observability solutions that empower our IT Workload teams to achieve operational excellence, compliance, and cost efficiency.

Role and Responsibilities

In this role, You will:

• Lead the architecture and deployment of Splunk platforms across ASML’s enterprise landscape.
• Onboard and normalize diverse data sources, ensuring high-quality, scalable observability.
• Build intuitive dashboards and visualizations that drive real-time decision-making.
• Implement and optimize Splunk ITSI, Service Analyzer, and advanced observability use cases using MLTK and AI-powered features.
• Collaborate with security teams to integrate Splunk Enterprise Security (ES) into operational workflows.
• Develop proactive monitoring and anomaly detection strategies to enhance service reliability.
• Ensure all configurations and deployments align with GitOps, Config-as-Code, and Infra-as-Code principles.
• Actively participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies and cross-functional collaboration.
• Mentor junior engineers and serve as a technical thought leader across the organization.

Education and experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Splunk Enterprise in large-scale environments.
• Proven expertise in:
  • Splunk ITSI and Service Analyzer implementation.
  • MLTK, AI-driven observability, and predictive analytics.
  • Advanced dashboard design and alerting strategies.
  • Data onboarding and schema optimization.
• Familiarity with Splunk ES integrations.
• Strong background in Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in SAFe Agile and Scrum-based delivery teams.
