We believed that we could reimagine the traditional process of creating custom corporate reports by giving corporate reporting teams back control of the entire process.

Are you an experienced Java Developer looking for a role with impact and flexibility? At Tangelo Software in Zeist, we develop financial reporting solutions for clients like Schiphol Group and the Dutch Ministry of Finance. Work without corporate bureaucracy, enjoy flexible hours, and contribute to a modern tech stack.
As a Senior Java Developer, you will take ownership of developing and optimizing our financial reporting platform. You will work on new features, plan two annual releases, and participate in two-week sprints.
- Develop and maintain scalable Java-based web applications.
- Optimize existing features and integrate new technologies.
- Work with Java 21, JAX-RS, Javascript, SQL, Oracle PL/SQL.
- Collaborate with product owners and fellow engineers.

Tangelo Software offers a no-meetings culture where engineers focus on development without distractions. You will join a small, senior team of six developers who take ownership of their work in a pragmatic and informal environment.
Hybrid work: Up to three days remote.
Team: Six experienced developers.
Clients: Industry leaders like Randstad, Q-Park, and Schiphol.
Our office in Zeist is easily accessible by car, train, or bike.
Wie jij bent
You are a self-driven Java Developer with a strong technical background and experience in scalable web applications.
- 8+ years of Java experience in web applications
- Strong knowledge of databases, REST APIs, and cloud applications
- Proficient in Java 21, JAX-RS, SQL, and modern Java frameworks
- Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)
