Are you enthusiastic about high-tech armored vehicles and would you like to work on systems that matter? As a System Engineer, you are the connecting link between design, technology, and realization. Your work is crucial for the development, integration, and validation of our vehicles.
Functieomschrijving
As a System Engineer, you will work on designing, integrating, and improving complex systems within our armored vehicles. You will ensure that all technical requirements are clear, translate them into a logical and feasible design, and monitor the process from start to finish. Working closely with colleagues, customers, and suppliers, you will play a key role in the development of reliable and future-proof vehicles.
What will you be doing?
- Drawing up and managing system requirements and specifications for multiple projects.
- Supporting validation and acceptance tests with system suppliers and customers.
- Planning, budgeting, and monitoring system design activities.
- Advising on technological developments and system integration within the project.
You work in a structured manner, take initiative, and know how to maintain an overview in complex technical processes. You switch easily between details and the bigger picture and communicate clearly with various stakeholders. Thanks to your independent and project-based approach, you know how to get others involved in the process and bring projects to a successful conclusion.
In addition, you have:
- At least a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, aerospace engineering, or a comparable technical education.
- At least 3 years of work experience in a similar role as a System Engineer.
- Experience with MS Office, CAD, and PDM systems.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- A Dutch or European citizenship (US and UK are also allowed)
You will be part of a close-knit and technically strong team that takes pride in working on innovative armored vehicles. The atmosphere is informal, the lines of communication are short, and there is plenty of room for initiative and development.
You can count on:
- A gross monthly salary between €4,400 and €7,000 (excluding 8% vacation pay), depending on experience.
- An annual profit distribution.
- Travel allowance of €0.23 net/km by car.
- 26 vacation days (with the possibility of extending to 40 days).
- Home working allowance of €2.40 net per day and flexibility in working hours and location.
