Als system performance engineer test je onze diep-ultraviolette (DUV) lithografiesystemen nadat ze volledig zijn geassembleerd in de cleanroomfabrieken. Een bijzondere en unieke omgeving om in te werken.

Rol en verantwoordelijkheden

Runnen van de onderneming: Als system performance engineer kalibreer, kwalificeer en voer je handmatige handelingen uit op onze DUV-systemen volgens afgesproken specificaties, kwaliteitsnormen en levertijden door via je laptop in te loggen op de machine. Je herkent en rapporteert (structurele) problemen en geeft indien nodig ondersteuning bij het oplossen van deze problemen. Communicatie is van cruciaal belang: het identificeren, informeren en betrekken van de relevante belanghebbenden is cruciaal om het proces draaiende te houden.

Verbetering van de bedrijfsvoering: wees betrokken bij het werken aan verbeteringen. Identificeer verspillingen in onze processen en draag bij/neem het voortouw bij het initiëren van verbeterprojecten die leiden tot verkorting van de cyclustijd door 4C, A3 te gebruiken en het gewoon te doen als probleemoplossende methoden.

Als System Performance Engineer richt je je op:

• Kwaliteit: het uitvoeren van kalibratie-, afstel-, prestatie- en systeemkwalificatietests op ASML-producten en/of (sub)systemen volgens vastgestelde specificaties. Herkennen en rapporteren van (structurele) problemen en indien nodig ondersteuning bieden bij het oplossen van deze problemen;
• Productie: zorg voor de voortgang van het systeem door een aantal tests uit te voeren, geleid door strikte procedures;
• Nieuwe Producten: bijdragen aan het pilotproces en de transitie van pilot- naar volumeproductie. Uitvoeren en verbeteren van procedures, processen, protocol etc;
• Teamwerk: kunnen werken in een multicultureel team met wederzijds respect binnen een hightech omgeving. Draag bij aan het team door jouw kennis te delen met je collega's. Verbeterideeën aandragen en bijdragen aan de implementatie ervan wanneer haalbaar en mogelijk;
• Kennis en vaardigheden: voldoende kennis verwerven van nieuwe en gevestigde producten en processen, modificaties, deelmodules en complete systemen;
• Rapportage: verwerken en administreren van informatie in SAP en rapportage van de machinestatus in het machinelogboek volgens werkwijze;
• Communicatie: handmatige aanpassingen synchroniseren, plannen en uitvoeren. Informeer de technische ondersteuning in geval van storingen. Houd de systeemeigenaar/teamleider op de hoogte bij eventuele verstoringen. Informeer de materiaalbehandelaar bij het bestellen of retourneren van materiaal;

Opleiding en ervaring

• Middelbare beroepsopleiding (MBO+) in mechatronica, elektronica, mechanica, software of VAPRO-C. MBO-kandidaten komen alleen in aanmerking als zij beschikken over 3-5 jaar relevante werkervaring;
• Bachelordiploma (HBO) in mechanica, elektronica, mechatronica of informatica;
• Bij voorkeur: ervaring in een hightech productieomgeving, b.v. elektronica, ICT-hardware, vliegtuigbouw, fijnmechanica of onderhoud.

Om te kunnen gedijen als systeemprestatie-ingenieur, heb je de volgende vaardigheden nodig:

• Uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden in het Engels;
• Interesse in andere technische en bedrijfsprocessen;
• Zelfstandig, ondernemend, doelgericht en flexibel;
• Servicegericht en teamwerker;
• Gestructureerde manier van werken;
• In staat/bereid om voornamelijk met computers te werken in een testomgeving op afstand.
• Handmatige vaardigheden om aanpassingen, onderdelenwissels etc. uit te kunnen voeren
• Probleemoplossing en analytische vaardigheden

De ingenieur zal: - Werken in een 5-ploegendienst (hierbij horen ook weekendwerk en nachtwerk). Dit rooster is een cyclus van 10 dagen: 2 x ochtenddienst (07.00 – 15.30 uur), 2 x avonddienst (15.00 – 23.30 uur), 2 x nachtdienst (23.00 – 07.30 uur) gevolgd door 4 vrije dagen. Dit schema herhaalt zich dus elke 10 dagen. - Werken in een cleanroomomgeving in een speciaal pak en het dragen van een mondkapje

Running the business: As a system performance engineer, you will accurately calibrate, qualify and perform manual actions on our DUV systems according to agreed specifications, quality standards and delivery times by logging in to the machine via your laptop. You recognize and report (structural) problems and give support in solving these problems when required. Communication is key: identifying, informing and involving the relevant stakeholders is crucial to keep the process running.

Improving the business: Be involved in working on improvements. Identify waste in our processes and contribute/take the lead in initiating improvement projects that leads to cycle time reduction by using 4C, A3 and just do it as problem solving methods.

As a system performance engineer you’ll focus on:

• Quality: perform calibration, adjustment, performance and system qualification tests on ASML products and/or (sub) systems in accordance with established specifications. Recognize and report (structural) problems and give support in solving these problems when required;

• Production: ensure system progress by achieving an amount of tests guided by strict procedures;

• New Products: contribute to the pilot process and transition from pilot to volume production. Execute and improve procedures, processes, protocol etc;

• Teamwork: able to work in a multi-cultural team with mutual respect within a high-tech environment. Contribute to the team by sharing your knowledge amongst your colleagues. Bring up improvement ideas and contribute to implement them when feasible and possible;

• Knowledge and skills: acquire sufficient knowledge of new and established products and processes, modifications, sub-modules and complete systems;

• Reporting: process and administrate information in SAP and reporting of the machine status in the machine logbook according to the way of working;

• Communication: synchronize, plan and execute manual adjustments. Inform technical support in case of disturbances. Keep the system owner/team leader informed in case of disturbance in progress. Inform the material handler in case of material ordering or returning;

• secondary vocational degree (MBO+) in mechatronics, electronics, mechanics, software or VAPRO-C. MBO candidates are only considered if they posses 3-5 years of relevant work experience;

• bachelor's degree (HBO) in mechanics, electronics, mechatronics or computer science;

• Preferred: experience in a high-tech production environment, e.g. electronics, ICT hardware, aircraft construction, precision engineering or maintenance.

The Engineer will: 

- Work in a 5 shift schedule (this includes working weekend days and night work). This schedule is cycle of 10 days: 2 x morning shift (07.00 – 15.30), 2 x evening shift (15.00 – 23.30), 2 x night shift (23.00 – 07.30) followed by 4 days off. So this schedule is repeating itself every 10 days.

- Be working in a clean room environment in a special suit and wearing a mouth cap
