The Software Algorithms & Control team within KROHNE’s Flow Division plays a crucial role in the development of software and embedded software for our flowmeter products. We are currently seeking a talented Team Leader to guide and mentor this multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will provide engineering resources to project teams, ensuring that the right skills and expertise are allocated to meet both project and company objectives. You will provide technical leadership and support project managers in resource planning, ensuring that the team is aligned with project goals and the broader strategic objectives of the company. You will report to the department head and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain alignment with project and company objectives.

• Lead and Mentor the Team: Guide, mentor, and support a team of software engineers, fostering collaboration, high performance, and professional development.
• Technical Oversight & Quality Assurance: Coordinate team activities, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, quality standards, and maintaining rigorous version control and validation practices.
• Resource & Project Management Support: Collaborate with project managers to allocate resources, assist with milestone planning, and ensure the team meets deliverable deadlines.
• Cross-functional & Inter-team Collaboration: Act as a liaison with the engineering teams, quality assurance, and manufacturing, and coordinate with other SAC teams and R&D locations in England and Germany for project alignment and knowledge sharing.
• Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Drive the adoption of industry standards, technologies, and best practices in software development while identifying opportunities to optimize processes and improve team productivity.
• Problem-Solving & Technical Leadership: Proactively identify challenges, implement solutions, and ensure team efficiency, driving success across projects.

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field;
• Leadership Experience: Proven experience leading and mentoring technical teams, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop team members;
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of embedded software development, software lifecycles, and quality control practices;
• Resource Management: Experience in managing and supporting team resources in alignment with project needs.
• Effective Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Proactive approach to identifying challenges and implementing solutions to drive project success.
