The role

Every year, there are limited spots available. Each Trainee is unique and thus every traineeship is tailored to the talents and challenges of each individual. During your traineeship you and your mentor will focus on developing various key competencies and skills.

The program consists of three parts:

• Moving in: onboarding, get to know the company
• Moving around: 3-4 rotations within the Damen divisions with the possibility to go abroad.
• Moving on: continue your career in a challenging job within Damen supporting your ambitions, expertise and skills gained during the traineeship.

Skills & experience

What are the criteria to be eligible to apply for a traineeship?

To be eligible to this program, you must hold a bachelor or master’s degree (not only limited to Finance), you must be willing to travel to different Damen locations, possess no more than two years of work experience and demonstrate curiosity, dedication and an open-minded attitude.

How to secure a place as Finance Trainee at Damen?

• Online meet & greet: After evaluating your application, we will invite you for an online meet & greet. This is your chance to get to know Damen and vice versa.
• Online assessment: Next, you'll complete an online assessment, which decides if you will proceed to the interview and presentation stages.
• Interview: Upon successfully clearing the assessment, you will be invited for an interview.
• Presentation Panel: Once you've aced the interview, it is your turn to let us discover the amazing individual you are during a presentation which will be conducted by a panel.
