Experienced Electrical Integration Engineer (Mains Distribution & Machine Safety)

Are you challenged by the engineering of electrical solutions for high-tech products? Do you want to perform design verification on Electrical test set-ups & prototypes for our DUV lithography machines? Can you integrate and validate our Mains Distribution and Safety Handling design?

With 22 colleagues we are designing the Safety Handling boxes and Mains Distribution cabinets for our DUV lithography machines. Our team creates the requirements based on the input of many other teams. These requirements are used to design the Mains Distribution cabinets and Safety Handling boxes. We count on you to test and integrate the racks, cabinets and boxes in our machines. To do that, you need to align with many other people.

Activities that you will do on an average working day are:

• Validate concept designs and perform hands-on tests in lab and cleanroom during machine build process
• Specify and document test requirements, make work breakdown and effort estimations
• Execute system- and standalone tests on test set-ups or prototype machines to ensure that the documented results meet the requirements set by the architect.
• Drive quality and design of electronic developments on diagnostics, testability, manufacturability and reliability.
• Operate as the Electronic Integrator/gate keeper in a multidisciplinary Development team.
• Support New Product Introduction in the factory and at customers by performing machine qualification, certification, troubleshooting and support the factory and field engineers
• Analyze issues and drive proposals for design improvement

For such big and complex machines, you can’t do this alone. You work in an Agile team that takes care of the design from requirements up to and including integration on the machine, where you are responsible for our integration activities.

For doing your work you can rely on:

• Secondary vocational Education (Dutch: MBO-4) or Bachelor degree in electrical engineering or similar
• Experience in Electronics, Mains distribution and Safety handling
• Familiar with Troubleshooting and testing methods (Module & System level)
• Familiar with Electrical Safety standards (SEMI, NFPA)
• Experience with PLC, TIA Portal, Step7 and Microsoft Office tools
