Program Manager MF Academy - Career College

ASML has been growing extensively in the past years and will continue to grow in the coming years. Increased demand for our products is causing a ramp-up challenge. Effective learning and knowledge management is foundational to execute our MF strategy as well as career development opportunities to retain and develop our employees.

As part of the Manufacturing Academy we have set up a Manufacturing Career College.

Mission of the MF Career College

We keep, strengthen and expand MF skills and experience of MF employees to support their career, within MF, Global and towards other sectors. We focus on developing and retaining our employees.

Vision of the MF Career College

We bridge between local Academies globally, business and HR on MF career development. We will advise senior leaders and support employees on execution of their career steps via hands on learning solutions

- We support local factories and have a global outlook

- We support controlled flow (in, retain, out) of employees within MF and to other sectors

- We focus on cross-learning

- We help employees keep engaged/challenged in their role

- We support employees to make the next step via learning solutions

- We work together with formal (Dutch) Educational institutes

- We make use of existing internal programs

- We develop hands on learning solutions and tooling

- We work HR data driven

- We connect to global ASML initiatives (e.g. Integrated Talent Management)

In this role you support our Manufacturing sector. This includes the EUV Factory, Twinscan Factory and Manufacturing Services (MFS) in Veldhoven, but also be the liaison to other factories around the world. The Manufacturing Career College is responsible for design, development and executing (with internal and external partners) of learning solutions that support career development of MF employees. The Manufacturing Career College forms the bridge between HR, Academies and the business.

Role and Responsibilities

- Lead the Manufacturing Career College program to deliver effective and efficient solutions (eg. trainee programs, career workshops, Educational services etc)

- Support, develop, innovate and implement learning activities and HR-related learning products that support the growth and development of employees of Global Manufacturing.

- Align with the Global Manufacturing Academy, Veldhoven MF Academy and other ASML Academy‘s, Human Resources and the business.

- Collaborate with Educational partners in the region, such as Brainport Development and Educational institutes. (eg. Fontys, Summa, Avans etc)

- Ensure collaboration with Learning Business Partners, Human Resources business partners, Talent Engagement and the business stakeholders and get agreement on the deliverables

- Work together with external partners and/or suppliers to create learning solutions and/or collaboration on Educational level in the region

- Align x-Academy to share connect learning activities that support growth from one sector to another

- Have a pro-active attitude towards contributing to events such as; Global Manufacturing Day, Internal Career Festival, etc.

- Be an ambassador of ‘learning for tomorrow’s job’, focusing on retaining and development of MF employees for ASML in collaboration with stakeholders

· Work together on a global level to ensure that solutions such as growth paths are global recognized and accepted

· Vendor management / select and manage suppliers in cooperation with Procurement

Education and experience

- BSc or MSc in project management, Educational sciences, human resources, organizational psychology, or equivalent.

- Proven track record in driving progress on projects and programs and delivery of results

- Ability to navigate in a global and local operating model across ASML, Manufacturing, HR and the ASML Academy

Skills

- Min 5+ yrs program management experience in an international, dynamic environment (e.g. High-tech)

- Strong stakeholder management skills, ability to influence outside your own functional area

- Project management skills including structured reporting

- You are curious, able to look ahead and willing to show ownership

- Highly motivated, enthusiastic, flexible and ability to think and act on a strategic level and make the translation to a more tactical level and operational actions

- Self-reflective and able to demonstrate vulnerability to create a psychological safe work environment

- Experience in a learning / HR role is a pre.

- Coach and motivate other team members

- Strong analytical ability with a pragmatic attitude and data savvy

- Able to work with different cultures / adapt behavior when necessary

- Can lead change and deal with resistance.

- Can work in complex organizations.
